Good Presentation VS Bad Presentation

In a public speaking study at the college there is a presentation time on that day. Student named Ranjit
got the first attempt. So he went to in front of the class and presenting his material, as his lecturer
instructed. The title of his presentation is " The British imposed a lot of unpopular taxes on the American
colonist". He was reading the material during presentation. His face so serious when reading the
material. The audience was lost of attention since that time. He's only read through all the material
without making eye contact with the audience, so its dealing boring. During the presentation his phone
was ringing, so it's interrupted anything. Until the presentation it's over, it looks like a really bad
presentation.

After that, the lecturer told to everyone that speaking in front of many people it's not an easy thing. So
he ask to the audience (Ranjit's classmate) to give some constructive feedback for Ranjit. Some of the
feed back from Ranjit's classmates are: first Ranjit must speak louder the audience and face the
audience; second it would be better if Ranjit don't read a text during the presentation; third it would be
better if him smile during the presentation. Also there are two more suggestion from Ranjit's lecturer
there are that he must make sure that his phone was off during the presentation, and it would be better
if he use personal experience or story as an example about his presentation.

One week later, Ranjit got his first attempt to doing the presentation. At that time the material is about
"Causes and Effect of stress, and how to cope the stress". During the presentation Ranjit really do five
key point of suggestion that he get a weeks ago, so his presentation was really good at that time. He
explain the material not just clear, but also interactive to the audience. Then, in the example part he
told about his own experience about the stress problem, and how he solve it. After all he did a great
presentation. After the presentation, the lecturer told that is an example of a good presentation, and
show how the five key point that they got last week its really works.
