What are differences between believe and claim? Believe is

something that we believe or accept as true, normally without
proof. Believe can come from unknown sources. People generally
accept believe without knowing who said it. And Claim is a
statement saying that something happened a certain way or will
happen a certain way.
Having a believe can offer a sense of comfort, purpose and
connection to others. Sometime believe may affect the healing of
life. Believe usually has no reasons or evidences for proving or
supporting that it is true or not. Sometime it is just an opinion or
our expectation but we cannot explain it to other people why we
think like that. For example, I believe in ghost. It’s just my
perception. I have no experience to see ghost. I do not have any
evident to show the other that ghost exist in the earth or not
because I have not seen ghosts yet since I was born. Therefore,
believe is what we expect or accept as true but with no specific
reason, proof, or evidences.
On the other hand, Claim is used to refer that a particular situation
or incident existed and considered to be true and that it can be
proved as real. Claim is a statement saying that something is true
when some people may say it is not true because it has reasons
or evident for proving. The claims come from a particular source.
There are many types of claims: claims of fact, claims of value,
claim of comparison, and claims of policy. Each type of claim
focuses on a different aspect of a topic. A claim must be arguable
but stated as a fact. It must be debatable with inquiry and
evidence; it is not a personal opinion or feeling. For example, the
earth goes around the sun. We have enough evidence to show
people that it is true by using many modern technologies to show
that the earth goes around the sun. it’s not someone’s opinion or
perception.
In conclusion, believe and claim are quite different. Believe is our
opinion or what we think with no reasons, evidence or proof for
proving that it is true. Sometime it can be true but sometime it
cannot. It’s just our expectation or understanding. And claim is a
fact. A fact that we can prove by evidence, reasons, and ideas
etc. Something that we can explain to other people to make they
understand.
