Colonel Dame Kelly Holmes is a British icon and an inspiring figure.

She served in
the British Army for nearly a decade, earning an MBE for her contributions. With a
remarkable athletic career spanning 12 years, she won numerous medals at various
international competitions, including two gold medals at the 2004 Athens Olympics,
making her the first British woman to achieve such a feat. Recognized for her
sporting achievements, she was honored with a Damehood. Kelly is now a renowned
global speaker, an award-winning author, and an advocate for fitness, wellness, and
mental health. She is the President of the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, a charity she
founded to empower disadvantaged youth through the guidance of world-class
athletes. In 2018, she became the first Honorary Colonel attached to a regular
regiment, and she has received multiple honorary doctorates. In 2022, she
courageously shared her journey as a gay woman in a documentary, using her voice to
educate and promote diversity and inclusion.
