and said there _______________________ (be) a problem with one of the engines and we’d have to return to the
airport. We _______________(calm) down by him and the flight attendant. Anyway, I felt pretty nervous, I can tell
you, but I _______________________ (try) to concentrate on my book and about ten minutes later we
_______________________ (land) without any problems. We _______________________ (have to) wait for about an
hour, and then we _______________________ (ask) to go back on the plane by the flight attendant. Actually, it was a
