GODSPELL COSTUMES
“Babble” & “Prepare Ye”:
● All black and/or dark gray outfit. Contemporary/trendy in look.
○ No big logos, patterns, or pictures.
○ Backs, bellies, and thighs should be covered.
● Black/gray shoes & socks--no heals.
● Layers encouraged. Still should be black/dark gray. But don’t overdo.
● Think about what character you are trying to portray.

“God Save the People” (through the rest of the show):


● Fun, colorful outfit.
○ You should look out of place/not coordinated--like a toddler who dressed themself.
○ Backs, bellies, and thighs should be covered.
○ Go for muted and pastel tones to fit our look.
■ Avoid overly bright or neon colors and sequins/glitter.
■ Avoid items that are mostly white, black, brown, or neutral.
○ No large pictures, images, or logos.
○ No navy or neutral denim. Color denim--esp. overalls--are ok.
○ No rips or holes.
● Should have one or two colorful accessories. (But don’t overdo it!)
○ Suspenders, ties, vests, kerchiefs, bandana, sweaters, belts, wristbands, hats,
scarf, gloves, tutus, leg warmers, stockings/leggings, etc…
● Shoes
○ Should be fun and simple.
○ Not too contemporary in look (like flashy sports/running shoes). No heels.
○ Color Converse, flats, Vans, Keds, Toms, etc. … or paint an old pair!

Jesus Judas
● White or Light, light blue pants ● Dark color t-shirt (solid or simple pattern)
(chino/casual khakis) ● Blue jeans & Black converse

Be creative and make a character! Have fun THRIFT STORE shopping!
