This office is accepting documents for reclassification of teacher items to Master Teacher and Head Teacher positions from qualified secondary schools until March 10, 2023 only. 2, _ There is no reclassification of teacher items from elementary schools because the allocation of Master Teacher positions in the elementary level is still enough. 3. Senior High School Teachers are not yet encouraged to join the assessment for reclassification of their items to Master Teacher I or Head Teachers since guidelines are yet to be released by the Central Office for them. 4, Schools applying for the reclassification of their items must first determine the following: For Head Teacher positions: a. Only i Head Teacher position can ve allocated per subject area; b. There must be a total of at least 6 teachers to be supervised (excluding the applicant for Head Teacher); c. The field of specialization of the applicant must be that of the department/subject area where he/she belongs; d. Only the teachers included in the PSIPOP of schools are counted; e. There must be no double-entry of names of teachers per department; f. Applicants must meet the basic CSC qualifications of the position. For Master Teacher positions: a. The ratio for the allocation of Master Teacher per department must be 5:1; meaning for every 5 teachers (excluding the applicant}, 1 MT position can be allocated per department; b. Pending the release of the new guidelines for the expanded career progression system for public school teachers, the appraisal of credentials for Head Teacher-I position will be based on DepEd Order No. 42, s. 2007 while for Master Teacher, basis will be MEC Order No. 10, s. 1979 and the CSC approved Recruitment, Selection and Placement (RSP) Policy of SDO Naga City. 6. __ Schools with applicants for reclassification must submit in a separate folder the following documents: a. school memorandum for their call for submission of documents for reclassification b. _list of teachers by department (must be signed by the Principal) c. waiver of teachers who did not join (by department) d. School Form 7 (School Personnel Assignment List and Basic Profile) 7. Deliberation will be on March 16, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. at the Division Conference 8. Qualifying Points 1. For Master Teacher I, an applicant has to obtain 25 points in leadership, potential and accomplishment or has been a demonstration teacher at least in the district level plus 15 points in leadership, potential and accomplishment; For Master Teacher Il, an applicant has to obtain 30 points in leadership, potential and accomplishment or has been a demonstration teacher at least in the division level plus 20 points in leadership, potential and accomplishment; For Master Teacher III, an applicant has to obtain 45 points in leadership, potential and accomplishment; For Master Teacher IV, an applicant has to obtain 60 points in leadership, potential and accomplishment. (Source: DECS Order 57, 8. 1997 and MEC Order 10, s. 1979). 2. The points (25, 30, 45 and 60 for MT I, MT Il, MT Ill and MT IV, respectively) can be gained from any of the items outlined in the table for credit points for leadership and potential of the said DECS Order. 3. It does not require for one or more demonstration teaching for as long as the applicant has fulfilled the points from the list of items for the credit points in the leadership, potential and accomplishments. 4. For a criterion to be given point, all required documentary evidences should be present. D. Credit Points for Leadership, Potential and Accomplishments 1. Claim for Curriculum or Instructional Materials/ Effective Teaching Techniques or Strategies/ Simplification of work as in reporting system, record keeping, etc., or procedures that resulted in cost reduction/ A worthwhile income generating project (IGP) for pupils/students given recognition by higher officials in the division. a. Allclaims for this criterion shall be supported with proofs/evidences for validation where applicable to attest the utilization, usefulness or effectiveness. 2302 ou ry b. The project proposal shall be supported by evidence of data, data analysis in indicators and the terminal report/accomplishment report shall contain statistical result. c. The project should have been acknowledged /noted/endorsed by the proper authorities and duly recommended and approved by the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent and Schools Division Superintendent, respectively. d. Bach claim shall be supported by an approved project proposal and a terminal report/accomplishment report after the project completion. €. A certification should be given by proper authorities on the project utilization, usefulness, or effectiveness and should be corroborated by at least five (5) teachers involved in the activity to attest the veracity of the claim and duly notarized. f. For group claims, the points shall be divided equally among each team member (maximum of 3 members). §. Any of the following outstanding accomplishments shall be given twenty (20) points. Criterion A - Introduced any of the following which has been adopted or used by the school /district/division. (20 points in any of the following) 1. Accomplishment Report with date signed by the PSDS for district coordinator and signed by School Heads for School Coordinator corroborated by 5 teachers. It must be consistent with the activity cited in the action plan. f Observe congruency with the dates of the action plan, certification, designation and narrative accomplishment report. 2. Adviser of Interest Club for at least 2 years a.
