Important messages from New Jersey American Water

• New Jersey American Water implemented provisional rates on June 15, 2019, while the NJ Board of Public Utilities (BPU) reviewed the
Company's rate request. On October 29, 2019, the BPU issued its final order with the approved new rates. Because the approved rates are
lower than the provisional rates for some customer classes, those customers will receive a one-time credit on their bill. The credits reflect the
difference in the provisional rates charged and the final approved rates for the period from June 15, 2019through October 29, 2019, plus
interest. For more information about your rates, visit www.newjerseyamwater.com. Under Customer Service & Billing, select Your Water and
Wastewater Rates.
