CHAKRAS Chakra is an old Sanskrit word that literally translates to mean ‘whee!’. The Chakras are believed to be part ofthe subtle body, and not the physical phenomenon; they appear spin. As per the ancient culture, all living beings carry a life force within them that is spinning and rotating. This spinning energy has seven centers starting at the base of the spine to the crown of the head. These wheels of energy correspond to massive nerve centers located in the body. Each of these seven main chakras contain bundles of nerves and impact major organs as well as our psychological, emotional and spiritual state of being. The meridian points are additional release routes for elimination of energy. ‘The meridians have a dual link with the internal chakras, i.e., a) Structural, and, b) Functional. Both options are present simultaneously as the energy Aistribution in the human body, but at any given time, only one of them is predominant.
