Adi Naane Un Kannalan

Logline: Mahalakshmi who failed in love and was depressed must give a chance to
Vikram for an arranged marriage to live the rest of her life happily.

Synopsis: Mahalakshmi finished her studies and was working as a project manager in a
company. Mahalakshmi lived in Delhi, she met Vasudev in a meeting where he runs a
company. They both got along well but his deal got canceled and he was sad. Soon
Mahalakshmi and Vasudev fell in love and got very close and two years passed soon. But
Vasudev had a feeling that whenever Mahalakshmi used to come in front of him his
business used to be in loss or anything bad would happen. So he started avoiding
Mahalakshmi but she kept calling him. One day Mahalakshmi’s grandmother called her
and said that they got a proposal for her. Mahalakshmi doesn't accept it and she even
cries for two days but they don't listen to her. Mahalakshmi called Vasudev and said
about this but he said that he is not interested in marriage now. Because of the
continuous calls, Mahalakshmi was helpless and she decided to go to her village. But in
tension, she missed the bus and her grandmother kept calling her. Mahalakshmi says
that she missed her bus, and her grandmother says to rent a car and reach home.

In a dilemma Mahalakshmi was walking on the road when suddenly someone threw
water on her. Mahalakshmi was angry and she started shouting at him, he says she
changed the dress in his house. Mahalakshmi says that she doesn't believe him, he says
that he can stand out and introduce himself that he is Vikramdev. Mahalakshmi also
locks the door and changes and gets fresh up. When Mahalakshmi comes out
Vikramdev teases her by saying that someone went inside and is missing. Because
Mahalakshmi was in traditional wear when she went inside and changed to western
when she came out. Vikram dev says that he will drop her at the bus stop but she won't
listen and goes by herself. When Mahalakshmi sat on the bus, Vikramdev also went
there, she asked why he was following her. Vikram dev says that it's his seat in which she
is sitting, and he sat beside her. Mahalakshmi was sad so Vikramdev asks what her
problem is, she opens up by saying that she is in love with a man. But her parents saw
another proposal for her, Vikram says to call him and talk about the issue with her
boyfriend. But Vasudev doesn't lift the call, Vikramdev calls him through his phone and
talks to him. Vasu cuts the call by saying he is busy, and Mahalakshmi goes to her house.
But Vikram also follows her after reaching home Mahalakshmi comes to know that
Vikram is the one whose proposal came for her.

Vasu came to the village and was waiting for Vikram to talk, when they both opened up
Vasu says that he doesn't want to marry Mahalakshmi as she doesnt seem to be lucky to
him. Without understanding that both can't live happily, Mahalakshmi was sad but
accepted Vikram. Both Vikram and Mahalakshmi got married, and Vikram got very
close to Mahalakshmi’s family. Mahalakshmi was sad in the beginning but later she got
changed by Vikram’s love and living happily with him. Even after their marriage both
Vikram and Vasu stayed in contact and were good friends. Vikram gave business ideas to
Vasu and his business got developed very well. Vasu found that his project quotes were
replaced by his employers so he went bankrupt and it had nothing to do with
Mahalakshmi. Vikram was also a businessman; he maintained his personal and
professional life very well and gained more profits.
