C•CURE 9000 Upgrade Readiness Tool

The Upgrade Readiness Tool is designed to be run on a system


with C•CURE 9000 installed on it. It will run on an application server or a client
workstation and analyze the system to see if the system supports upgrading to the
target version.

It can be downloaded from

Operation

Download and run the Upgrade Readiness Tool on the application server or client
workstation.

Select the version you wish to upgrade to from the version dropdown and click Run
Analysis.

Current System Status

Once run, the results will be shown in the Current System Status section.

Results that are of concern will be in red, denoting unsupported versions of software
or hardware not meeting the proposed minimum requirements. If the Upgrade
Supported checkbox is checked for that line, that component meets the upgrade
requirements.

If further information is available for a line, a Show button will appear in


the Suggested Resolution column.

Pre-Upgrade Checklist

In the Pre-Upgrade Checklist section, the best-practice actions are shown for
ensuring the databases are backed up prior to the upgrade attempt, that the
controllers are upgraded to supported firmware versions for the version you are
upgrading to, and that installed integrations are supported by the version of
C•CURE 9000 you are upgrading to.

The Details button will contain additional information on each Pre-Upgrade

Known Issues

If any known issues are detected on the system that the Upgrade Readiness Tool is
run on and the tool is able to resolve them, a Solve Known Issues button will appear
that can be clicked to do so.

IMPORTANT: Only do this after performing a backup of the databases as directed


in the Pre-Upgrade Checklist section.
