DETAIL

SYMPTOM JOG dial does not rotate smoothly. Or JOG dial does not rotate.

CAUSE Due to coming off the engagement between JOG B and ring lens

SERVICE Category A - Replace both JOG B and ring lens

REMEDY Category B - Replace only ring lens

The serial No. which is mentioned on the next page is target of this remedy. (not applied serial No.)

Regarding this remedy, only ring lens was design changed twice since the effect of first design change was
not complete. (Part No. : DNK4979 -> DNK5465 -> DNK5521)

The engagement points are increased from 4 points to 12 points by the first design change. ( both JOG B
and ring lens) Please refer to P .3 about the detail.
So, in case of unmodified unit, you cannot assemble unless replace JOG B and ring lens at the same time.
In case of category B (refer to serial No. list), you can replace only ring lens.

CDJ-400-K models have already been applied the final countermeasure from the beginning.
