Reflection on Delivery of Training Session

Part 5 (50 marks / worth 15% of course grade) (Syllabus 3)

Purpose: Taking time to reflect on any feedback received and personal experiences when
delivering training helps the trainer to fine-tune and improve their skills.

Task: After you have delivered your training session, read through the feedback
received on your Evaluation Forms. Then prepare a brief report covering the
points listed below using a “Growth Mindset” approach.

1. In your introductory paragraph, identify your training topic and learning outcomes.
(5 marks)
2. Describe two (2) things you believe you did well and why you believe this
(10 marks – 5 marks each)
3. Using a “Growth Mindset” identify two (2) things you would improve upon if you were
to present this training session again and how you would make these improvements.
(10 marks – 5 marks each)
4. Assessments: Were the Learning Outcomes Achieved? Summarize how your participants
did on their Assessment/Quiz. Did your Assessment truly assess individual learning on
the part of each participant? Would you make any changes to either your Training
Session or your Assessment (Quiz) based on this information?
(8 marks)
5. Summary of Evaluation Forms: Compile the feedback received from participant
evaluations (preferably in chart form). Include your comments or responses to the
feedback, demonstrating a ‘Growth Mindset’.
(12 marks)
6. In your concluding paragraph, describe how you felt about this experience overall and
any other comments you would like to share. (5 marks)
