Have you ever seen a patient library in any hospital in the world?

Do you believe that providing patients with access to books and reading spaces is beneficial to their recovery?

Slide2
A 2009 study at the University of Sussex found that reading can reduce stress by up to 68%

Also, Research by the Starlight Foundation found that children's play including literature promoted recovery in a
number of ways:
- By reducing stress, fear and anxiety associated with hospital care, making the experience more positive.
- Reduce the pain associated with treatment, occasionally reducing the need for sedation.
- Building resilience, and helping children to cope better with treatment.
- Strengthen family wellbeing and relationships.
- Giving patients a sense of control and autonomy

So experiments show that reading can improve the healing process of all kind of patients and family members
experiencing high level of emotional stress.

Public Hospitals around the world do not possess library or reading sections, nor the technology to facilitate reading
for patients and family members

So we believe that providing each patient with adequate literature depending on their situation could improve their
treatment and recovery process, as well as empower research for other patients in similar situations.

The provided distraction will make the hospital a more fun, less threatening environment, and allows for a more
positive treatment for the patients and their family members.

Why it matters ? one of the primary SDGs objectives for 2030 is good health and well-being .

Our platform (R4H) offers the opportunity to participate in and support patient's mental well-being through
selectively curated literature.

Slide 3
Our framework for success: our platform is a multisided, partner-driven platform for social good.

The platform will be intermediary between patients, their families and medical care workers on one hand, and donors,
academics and socially-oriented organizations on the other

R4H could be installed in every tech device, where they could track the patient reading experience, book, time,
attention. Mixing this consumer use with the hospital record uploaded from the hospital could let academics do their
research

While Hospitals would provide all the information from the patient health being to the platform, Researches could
add the following to the this ecosystem:

1. Being Psychologist and educators curate literature

2. Acting like dara analysts by Analyze existing data of literature and treatments to find correlations.
3. Psychos, Iterate in their strategies with the data from the analyzed data
Local authorities will support the platform by participate in providing resources, assistance, regulation.. helping and
improving the country population mental and physical health, making hospital stays shorter.

When talking about scalability, more companies could add into the structure; this would benefit the companies
regarding Public Relations view. Tech companies for example with reading devices (like Amazon Kindle or Apple Ipad)
could use best case for PR. Also, partnership with them could give/share reading data they could use for their benefit.

Moreover, In this modern world where data and AI run everything, our platform can suggest health content to calm
down the stress of the patient and bring valuable neural data to researchers to treat the most common stress illness.

Through the creation of a healthy ecosystem and platform, and with the active involvement of third parties chasing
the same objectives, we aim to align our resources towards a common goal: healing patients through literature.

Slide 3
Because our platform is non-profit platform and not chasing any economic gains, we believe that the success of
Reading for Healing is largely dependent on the collaborations between all sides in the ecosystem, we depend on
third parties to collaborate, donate and participate to provide the necessary services and goods.

Here are the main barriers we believe that could stand in the way of launching our platform:

Receiving material donations and delivering them to hospitals requires an established global distribution structure.

Our plan for this is a Partnership with delivery companies like Amazon for reception, storage and delivery of goods
using their existing structure.

Second barrier

Third barrier: funding the platform is one of the main challenges that we may face, this could be solved by
