Coffee retailer is seeking proposals for a backup and disaster recovery solutions. Coffee Retailer
potential server infrastructure is that the local switches and the wireless access points in each Coffee
Retailer shop are controlled via a cloud-hosted centralized management platform. Local switching and
wireless access point (AP) configurations and policies are available to devices via site-to-site virtual
private network (VPN) tunnels to a public cloud service provider. The goal of the Backup Solution is to:
(1) allow for easy integration and seamless into Coffee Retailer environment and leverage functionality
of virtual infrastructure; (2) improve the backup process in terms of space, time, and minimal disruption
to the production environment; (3) provide reliability, flexibility, expandability, and usability, (4)
accommodate archiving or vaulting of specific data in the event legal or other situations require
extended access to or recovery of the data. The purpose of this RFP is to provide the essential
informational requirements such that a qualified respondent (“Respondent”) can propose a solution
Anticipated Solutions
Graduated Security Access for various level access by Coffee Retailer technical staff.
Backup windows- All backups must occur such that production environment is not impacted 7am – 5pm
M-F. Backups normally occur overnight and run less than 7 hours currently. All Backups must be
Restores from Backups- we anticipate multiple levels of access for restores including: authorized access
for Coffee Retailer system administrators to complete full system restores within minutes . Backup
retention is targeted 30 days for general operation. Legal holds may be held indefinitely and vendor may

Delivery Period
The entire scope of work including training shall be completed within one month.
Termination of the contract Termination of the contract agreement can be effected by either side (i.e.
by Client or the vendor) by giving 30 days’ notice period in writing if and when it becomes compelling by
either side for any reason whatsoever. All the payments shall be cleared up to the date of the
termination notice.
Platform as a Service The Supplier shall provide Client hosting Services including but not limited to the
following:
• Web-application hosting in the cloud, enabling redundant, scalable and dynamic web hosting
• Load balancer
• Sufficient disk space and data transfer bandwidth to meet Client’s requirement
