To whom it may concern,

I would like to recommend Ava Scarbrough for her nurse preceptorship. She is currently
attending the University of Arizona and enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Integrative Health Program in Gilbert, AZ.

Ava Scarbrough was one of my students during our OB clinical rotation at Banner Gateway.
Above all else I saw this students ability to work with multiple different staff members as well as
other students and peers. During the rotation Ava was able to get many hands on experience
preforming skills such as IV’s, blood draws, foley insertion, newborn heal sticks, newborn
feedings, and newborn bath.

Ava was always willing to jump into any learning experience or skill to offer a helping hand. She
is also eager to learn and ask appropriate questions. I know her ability to work with others and
her overall attitude and passion for nursing will help her in any position she does.

I have no doubt she will continue to deliver quality patient care, continue to build great
communication skills, and compassion throughout her nursing career. I strongly recommend Ava
as an asset to your organization.
