I had opportunity to interview Iza Mabini and Karen Joy Sulit a student of
FNHS and aged of 17 and living in fortuna . They shared to me one of their culture
about marriage when the couple are relevant to each other. In these case they
need to perform a "pakapya" it's a way of celebrating to make their relationship
as part of family or being a relevant to each other make it invalid so they free to
be a couple and no one can in between them. And the importance of pakapya is
to make invalid the relationship of a couples that in love their relevant family.And
they also share to me that now in the present day ,the children of their
generation aren't know how to speak their own language even to understand
it.Their language is dangerously because the new generation won't care thier own
language.

I interviewed my mother aged of 50. She said to me that there is a

important culture when there's a member of a family died in their house, the
house is need to o be destroyed, and burned it ,or maybe it can be taken it to
another place if you don't want it to destroyed. And my mother also share to me
the culture that endangered, that is performing singing and arts of our tribes.
Because now the teenagers including me are not know how to sing a songs of
mangyan tribes and also how to read a written word in something else. Actually
I'm informed about this situation of our cultures that was endangered to
disappear in the society.

I interviewed Icie Mabini about their culture and she said that if your
relevant family is died you need to practice all of these are the following, do not
washed,do not clean the sorrounding,and do not turn to the place where you
libing the died person ,and last do not picked any flowers in the garden or
somewhere else.Because they believe that if you do all those things the soul of
the person who died is will followed you back to your house.And your life will
become Malas.
