APPROVAL OF TRADITIONAL RIGS

2. Documents for approval

2.1 Fully dimensioned drawings of the following parts of the rigging shall be submitted to the
Society in triplicate for examination:

1. Rigging plan showing sail areas and centres of effort as well as the arrangement and
dimensions of the standing rigging;
2. Masts, upper masts and crosstrees;
3. Yards with their fastenings to masts and upper masts;
4. Booms for gaff sails with their fastenings to masts and upper masts;
5. Bowsprits;
6. Fastenings for standing rigging on hull, masts and upper masts;
7. Substructures of masts and bowsprits;
8. Running rigging, where this is subjected to forces transmitted by yards, booms, etc.
