Dear Sir,
Under the instruction of my above named client, I give you this notice as follows:-
1. That on 01/01/2014, you requested my client to give a loan for Tk. 10,00,000/- (Taka Ten
Lac) for business purpose. Accordingly on 5/1/2014 my client gave you the aforesaid amount of
loan on the basis of a written agreement and on condition that you will repay the loan by April
2014. But you did not repay the same within that period.
2. That in the first week of May 2014, my client requested you to repay the loan amount.
Accordingly on 7/5/2014 you issued a cheque No. 123456 amounting of Tk. 10,00,000/- (Taka
Ten Lac) from your account No. 98765 maintained by you with the Janata Bank Limited, TSC
branch for payment of the said loan.

3. That on 8/5/2014 my client presented the cheque to the Janata Bank for encashment of
the cheque. But the same was returned by the bank as unpaid because the amount standing in
the credit of your account was insufficient to honor the cheque.

4. That thereafter my client informed you about the matter over mobile phone and
requested you to take proper step for encashment of the cheque but you did not take such step.
5. That under the circumstances, I on behalf of my above named client request you to pay
the aforesaid amount of Tk. 10,00,000/- (Taka Ten Lac) to my client within 30 days of the receipt
of notice under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act and you will be liable for the cost
and consequences. In default, my will take legal action against you including filling a complaint
under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act.

A copy of this notice is being preserved in my chamber for future reference and further action.

Yours faithfully,

(Nadia Rahman)
