1.classify an organism;

2.explain each of categories of an organisms;

3. put the classification of organisms on the stair activity.

6. Review of Previous Lesson

Last meeting, we discussed about


biodiversity.

Again class, what is biodiversity?


Ma’am biodiversity is the variety of
organisms living on Earth.

What are the three levels of Biodiversity?

Ma’am species diversity, Genetic diversity,


and ecosystem diversity.
That’s right!

It seems that you really understand our lesson


yesterday, Let’s proceed to our next topic.

B. Preparatory Activity

1. Motivation

Class, when you hear the words classifying


and naming organisms, what comes into your
mind? Ma’am it is arranging and how an organisms
are named.

Now, we will have an activity, it is entitled


“Name me”

All you need to do is name the picture


provided, whatever you called it in your
community.

C. Developmental Activity
1. Presentation

What did you do in your activity? Ma’am we named the organisms that you
presented through pictures.

So, what can you say about your activity?


Ma’am the activity is very excellent because
we learned that one organism has many
names, whatever other community call about
it.

2. Discussion

Class, what do you think our lesson for today? Ma’am classifying and naming organisms.

Correct! Today, were going to discuss on how


organisms are classified and named.

organisms? Ma’am Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order,
Family, Genus and Species.
