SEMANA 7 – TASK: TAREA – MI FAMILIA

Person 1: Hi Carlos, how are you?

Person 2: Hi Rafael, I'm good. And you?

Person 1: I'm good too. I was thinking about our family. Could you describe each member of
our family and our relationship with them?

Person 2: Sure, let's start with our parents. Our mom Nélida is 65 years old and she's a loving
and affectionate woman. She has always been there for us no matter what. Our dad Juan is 68
years old and he's a hardworking man. He has always worked long hours to provide for us and
make sure we have what we need.

Person 1: That's true. And our sister Elisa is the oldest? She's 45 years old and in college now,
right?
Person 2: Yes, our older sister is in college. She's very smart and determined. She wants to be a
doctor someday.

Person 1: Wow, that's impressive. And our brother Lucas is the youngest? He's still in high
school, right?

Person 2: Yes, our younger brother is 15 years old and still in high school. He's very athletic and
plays on the basketball team. He has always been very competitive.

Person 1: That's great. And what about our grandparents? They're quite old now, aren't they?

Person 2: Yes, both of them are over 85 years old. Our grandfather was a retired teacher and
he's very wise. He always has good advice for us. Our grandmother was a nurse and she's very
caring. She always takes care of us when we visit her.

Person 1: I really love our family. We're very lucky to have each other.

Person 2: Yes, we are. We should make more of an effort to see each other and spend time
together.
