Dear Sir/Madam,

I was delighted to come across your website recently. As a Woodwind Doubler about to leave the
Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, I think I would be well suited to joining this orchestra.

On your website you mentioned that there are common doublings of clarinet, alto and soprano
saxophones, all of which I’m confident and experienced in. I have previously worked in the West End
as part of the London Musical Theatre Orchestra on their Devdep scheme, performing in Chess in
Concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, where I confidently and successfully doubled alongside many
west end staples including Paul Saunders and Huw Clement-Evans.

I’m confident that my CV will show a record of well-suited experience, and good level of organisation
that will make me a worthwhile member of this orchestra.
