IV. FIRST AID MEASURES

Inhalation: Use the product in sufficiently ventilated working places. If inhaled, remove from
exposure and move to fresh air immediately. Seek medical help.
Skin contact: Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Take off the contaminated
clothing. Seek medical aid.

Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes occasionally lifting the upper and
lower eye lids.
Ingestion: If the victim is conscious and alert, give 2-3 cupfuls of water or milk. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical help immediately.
V. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

General information: As in any fire, wear a self contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand.
MISHA/NIOSH approved or equivalent and full protective gear. Combustion generates toxic
fumes.
Extinguishing media: Use water spray, dry powder and carbon dioxide.

VI. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

General Information: Use proper personal protective equipment.

Spills and leaks: In case of spilling, embank the spill with inert material (sand, sawdust etc.)
Vacuum or sweep up material and place in a suitable container for disposal. Wash the soiled space
with plenty of water.
Environmental precautions: Avoid waste and surface water contamination. In case of surface or
sewerage water contamination report to the local authorities.

VII. HANDLING AND STORAGE

Handling: Act according to good safety and sanitary regulations. Avoid direct contact with eyes,
skin and clothing. Avoid inhalation of fumes. Wash accurately after handling. Do not drink or eat
during work.

Storage: no special requirements. Keep away from heat, flames and sparks. Store in closed
containers in ventilated, dark room at controlled temperature (2-8°C).

VIII. EXPOSURE CONTROL/PERSONAL PROTECTION

Act according to usual safety measures regarding handling of chemistry substances. During work
do not eat, drink or smoke. Before starting and at the end of work wash your hands.
Control the exposure.
