Every relationship I ever had, they end up walking out

Saying I drink too much, I don’t know what’s all that about

I always take the blame, while they put none on themself

Saying I can handle it, is a dangerous game to play

Ignoring the problem. Yaaa. That’s a good way to live

No one around to help me out of this hole I continue to dig

Lay down at night and I’ll start to close my eyes

Just about to fall asleep, then the memories start

Remembering all the times we took the kids to the park

We’re all playing and laughing, not a care in this world

How could I see past that, as it was pure

Living in the moment, forgetting about the demons at my door

And babe, the last that I checked, it takes two, so you better go on take a look at yourself

Quit playing those games, and running your mouth

Quit spreading lies to others, it’s a small town

Don’t take long for the word to get out

Don’t think I ain’t heard, the words that came out of your mouth

Saying that I raped you, that is absorb

Creating scenarios, it’s just what you do

Push people away when they get to close to you

Its sad to say, but baby you know that its true

You build up walls, so people can’t get through

But one day that all changed

Its like a wrecking ball came through, shattering the love that was shared

Destroying our relationship, I don’t even think you cared

Should have walked away sooner, but how could I have known
That you’d walk away and leave me out for the wolves
