PROJECT 1
1. Project Objective
The objective of the project is to test the Resource Dependency Theory and to understand
the board structure of Indian companies.
2. Project description
The project is a Group project.
The class will be divided into ten groups. Each group will distribute NSE 100 companies
among themselves.
Each group shall go through the financial statements for the years 2017-2018 to 2021-
2022 of the 10 companies that are assigned to it. It will record the board structure and
record the data of each firm in the format presented in Annexure 1.
It will analyse the board structure of the 10 companies and submit its observations on the
board structure of Indian large, listed companies based on the data collected for the 10
companies assigned to it. A separate report for each company is not required.
