In the near future, catastrophic occurs on earth which compels people to evacuate from it.

The
united ranger corps is established to ensure safety of the evacuation to a new home so called “Nova
Prime.” Nova prime might be a perfect place to settle until we find out that humans are not alone.
Nova prime’s Indigenous habitants, turns out to be aliens, are trying to vanish humans by releasing
dangerous monsters called “Ursa.” Ursa is technically blind and sees through sensing humans’ fear.
Fortunately, a Commander named Cypher Raige discovers a technique called “ghosting” which
allows him to be undetected by Ursa due to lackness of fear.

A young cadet, Kitai Raige,is seeking so hard to get promoted to ranger. Though he is excellent in
class, Raige failed in field test. He tries to bargain the examiner only to find himself failed. After long
journey, Cypher Raige finally returns home and having a dinner with his wife and son. While dining,
Kitai is showing frustration because of his failure. This leads him to do impolite manners causing his
dad getting angry. After that, Faia tells Cypher about Kitai’s feeling guilty. It’s revealed that Kitai is
always blaming himself for his sister death. Trying to understand more about Kitai, Cypher then asks
Kitai to accompany him to Iphitos for another mission. Kitai smiles.

The ship flies away. Inside the ship, Kitai couldn’t resist his excitement by keeping smiling. Cypher,
on the other hand, suggests him to get rest. While his father is sleeping, Kitai enters forbidden room
where he is suddenly confronted by one of the ship crews. Another crew reveals that Kitai is General
Commander’s son. In short time, Kitai realizes that package in front of him is Ursa which is purposed
of training. Kitai steps slowly toward Ursa only to find out that Ursa senses his fear. Getting
awakened, Cypher detects something wrong and asks Kitai to get back to his sit. Then, The general
comes to captain room discussing about the upcoming asteroid storm possibility in which captain
refuses to believe. The General was right, the ship now is facing asteroid storm that is damaging the
ship. So, Captain decides to land the ship on the nearest planet. Ignoring the danger might come, the
ship still attempts to make a landing on that planet. Now, we learn that Kitai is so frightened, so that
Cypher tries to calm him down. A few seconds later, severe ship damages cause holes sucking
everyone but Kitai. Kitai Is passed out but eventually is survived.

Shortly after being awakened, Kitai attempts to search around the wrecked ship. He found his dad
laying unconsciously. Later, Cypher regains his conciousness. He then realizes that both of them are
the only survivors, he also has both of his legs are badly injured. Now, Kitai begins to search
emergency beacon as his father’s instructed only to find it’s malfunction. Fortunately, there is
another beacon left inside of the tail of the ship which is separated 100 kilometers from their
crashing point. Kitai then gets shortly briefed of surviving tools. Those are 6 inhalers for convenience
breathing, backpack and suit to communicate with Cypher, and also Cypher’s weapon. Cypher warns
Kitai about how danger the planet is. The planet is revealed to be earth, 1000 years from now, with
possibility of Ursa appearance.

Before leaving, Cypher commands Kitai to perform kneeling posture to calm and evaluate himself.
Kitai starts climbing a hill. As he reaches top of the hill, Cypher deploys several advanced drones to
examine situation. Cypher then informs Kitai that he needs to get to one of several hot spots each
evening before nightfall because of deadly freezing temperature during the night. After that, Cypher
starts to take pain killer which makes him remembering memory of his daughter. Meanwhile in the
forrest, Kitai’s suit turns into black which indicates there might be living movements around him. As
the object is moving directly towards Kitai, it appears to be an ape. Being anxious, Kitai throws a rock
to the ape only to be chased by shrewdness of apes. He finally manages to escape by swimming to a
river. Upon reaching ground, The Frightened Kitai keeps running while nothing is pursuing him.
Again, Cypher orders Kitai to do kneeling posture to calm and evaluate himself. It appears that a
parasite has poisoned him causing him rapidly gets paralyzed. Kitai injects two antidotes before gets
in faint.

Soon after being conscious, Kitai starts running to find shelter. When he arrives, he found that 2 of
his inhalers are damaged. Kitai keeps this secretly and uses one of them. The night finally comes with
hard rainfall. Kitai asks his dad how he had managed to defeat Ursa by Ghosting. Cypher tells Kitai
how fierce the battle along with his near death experience. He also told Kitai how to control fear. In
the next morning, Kitai continues to the next checkpoint which is 14 kilometers near waterfall. While
running, he discovers many apes only in pieces killed presumably by Ursa. Reaching the end of the
line, Cypher figures out that the best route is through sky jump. He also finds out that Kitai has lied
about inhaler supplies. So, he decides to abort the mission. A glimpse of horrendous memory about
his sister’s death appears. Kitai refuses the order and starts to perform sky jump. Now Kitai is chased
by a giant bird and unfortunately gets caught.

Realizing he is inside bird’s nest along with little birds, he is startled by incoming enemy. Kitai tries to
defend bird’s nest by defeating several enemies. The giant bird sees this moment and flies away
discovering many of its offsprings aren’t survive. Since communication device is now broken, Cypher
could no longer be in touch with Kitai. Kitai returns to his journey and finds another checkpoint. He
tries to remember what his father has said and takes a rest. The next day, the young cadet begins to
continue his journey and starts using the last inhaler. he builds a raft and follows river. While
sleeping, Kitai talks to his sister Senshi. Sorry for late introduction. When he gets awakened, he walks
through frozen forrest and gets frozen. Luckily the previous giant bird has saved him, Kitai thanks to
her and continues his mission.

Finally, Kitai reaches the goal, he found the ship. He immediately takes several inhaler supplies and
uses one of them. He found a weapon similar to his fathers. Unfortunately, he also discovers that
Ursa has already escaped. Kitai then activates the beacon attempting to send emergency signaal but
the signal goes nowhere. On the other hand, the communication between Cypher and Kitai is
successfully established but only in one direction. Cypher is able to hear Kitai’s voice but not vice
versa due to electrical issue in black zone. Kitai seems to be frustrated but suddenly he realizes that
he needs to go outside the black zone, the peak of the mountain. While he is walking, Kitai found
bodies that has been set by Ursa to fear him. Now Ursa is able to track down Kitai.

Kitai runs as fast as he could to the peak of mountain. Upon reaching a cave below the mountain’s
surface, Kitai has to confront himself against Ursa. Kitai avoids it by running through stalagmites
which effectively slows Ursa down. Being cornered, Kitai decides to jump into water. On the other
hand, Cypher who previously had self bypassed started losing consciousness. Kitai then finally
manages to get out from the water and begins to climb. While he is climbing, Ursa emerges from the
water trying to drag Kitai downward. Kitai uses his weapon to cling and successfully repels Ursa. As
soon as he finally comes out the cave, Kitai attempts to send emergency signal but it’s still
incomplete as Ursa grabs Kitai and throws him away leaving him injured. Not being able to move,
Kitai starts to remember again his traumatic memory followed by his father’s words. These embody
Kitai’s fearless mentality and allow him to perform “Ghosting.” By using his weapon, the invisible
Kitai attacks Ursa and dodges several of Ursa’s attacks. Finally, he jumps onto Ursa’s upper body, and
stabs it many times until it gets defeated. Afterwards, Kitai grabs the beacon and finally succeed in
sending the signal.

Shortly after, the rescue team arrives and picks them up. Both of them are save. This story comes
