Ultrasound-assisted electrolysis is a method of generating hydrogen through water

electrolysis by introducing ultrasound through the anode. This process promotes the
removal of the electrolysis products and cleaning of electrode surface,
facilitating the electrolysis [1]. The combined use of ultrasound and
electrooxidation shows strong dependency and has been evaluated in a test-cell [2].
The ultrasound-assisted TMECM system uses ultrasonic transducers to generate
ultrasonic waves for the removal of electrolytic products and bubbles through
cavitation, thus increasing current density and efficiency [3]. The dynamic model
analysis of ultrasonic cavitation for TMECM helps to understand the influence of
ultrasound and ECM system parameters on cavitation [3]. Optimization of
temperature, pressure, viscosity coefficient, and surface tension of the
electrolyte liquid is crucial in the process of ultrasound-assisted TMECM system
