LETTER

Dear Editor,
I am writing with regards to your latest article about how young people
only care about themselves. Not only to tell you this is not true, but also to
change your mind about the misconception that young people are selfish.
To begin with, people do not expect teenagers to be sensible enough to
make right decisions, besides, they prefer them to step aside. This, make it
arduous for them to learn how to make the best decision in wilder issues. If
they were allowed to make decisions without being afraid of making it
wrong, next time they would have more confidence in themselves and
would learn from their mistakes.
Furthermore, you categorically claim that we do not engage in contributing
to our companies. However, we help in other ways, like volunteering at our
own schools. For example, every year, my high school needs people to
carry out a Christmas event, and what will strike you very clearly from this,
is that they are always willing to help and get involved in.
I appreciate that in you article you were never impolite, but I fail to
understand why you do not believe that young people make much more
than you think. Being objective, I think you should consider coming to my
school to see how creative, well-formed and knowledgeable we are. Just
text me, you are welcome anytime.
I look forward to meeting you
