On March 5, 2019, Specialized Group No. 2.2 "Products and processes for added cladding, cladding
and cladding" of the Commission responsible for formulating Technical Assessments examined the
ALPOLIC -SYSTEME CASSETTES added cladding process, presented by the Mitsubishi Polyester
Companies Film GmbH and Acodi SA. It has formulated the following Technical Advice on this
process, which cancels and replaces Technical Advice 2.2/17-1786_V1. This Notice has been
formulated for use in mainland France.

Annex A
Installation of the ALPOLIC-CASSETTE SYSTEM cladding
process on an aluminum frame in
seismic zones on concrete support
For other atmospheres, A4 stainless steel anchors should be used.
A1. Working area
These metal anchors must withstand the stresses given in table A1.
For structure heights ≤ 3.5 m, the installation in seismic zones of the ALPOLIC-
SYSTÈME CASSETTES add-on cladding process is authorized without any special
provision, regardless of the size category of the building and the seismicity zone Example of dowels: HST3 M8 from Hilti.
(cf. ENS Guide) For configurations not considered in these tables, the stresses can be calculated
The ALPOLIC-CASSETTE SYSTEM process can be implemented on flat vertical walls, according to theCSTB notebook3725 within the limits of the accepted field of
in areas and buildings according to the table below (according to the decree of employment.

Mitsubishi Polyester Film GmbH does not pose itself.
The installation is carried out by a company specializing in exterior insulation, to
which Mitsubishi Polyester Film GmbH provides technical assistance on request.

respect to seismic actions.
A3. Requirements
-Calculation notes for anchors – CSTB DEIS/FaCeT-18-561 study report.
A3.1 Support
The support to receive the added cladding system is poured concrete in
accordance with DTU 23.1.

A3.2 Fixing anchors to the concrete support

Fixing to the concrete structural work is carried out by metal anchors bearing the
CE marking on the basis of an ATE or ETA according to ETAG 001 - Parts 2 to 5
(accepted as DEE) with performance category C1 evaluated according to Annex E
for all seismic zones and all categories of importance of buildings requiring special
justification.

Galvanized steel plugs may be suitable, when protected by an insulator, for use in
protected outdoor atmospheres in unpolluted rural, urban and normal or severe
industrial environments.
