Annapolis Senior Center announces October events

Annapolis, MD (Sept. 21, 2011) The Annapolis Senior Activity Center, 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis, announces events scheduled for the month of October. The Annapolis Senior Activity Center, 119 S. Villa Ave., Annapolis will present Ask the Undertaker: Leave Nothing to Chance at 10 a.m. Oct. 11. Ryan Helfenbein will discuss a funeral or cremation service in advance. Participants can enjoy refreshments while clearing up some common myths regarding planning in advance. Questions in advance can be sent to Ryan@lastingtributesfuneralcare.com. The Trip Committee at the Annapolis Senior Activity Center, 119 S. Villa Ave., is accepting reservations for a variety of day trips in 2012. These include Celtic Nights with entertainers from Ireland on March 18 in Gettysburg, Pa.; and in Washington D.C., a cruise on the Odyssey and a visit with the cherry blossoms on April 4, a tour of Hillwood Estate and Gardens on May 3, and a tour of the Holocaust Museum on July 24. Lunch is included with all of the day trips. Fees vary. The trip desk is open 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday.
