Have you ever met someone who will send your blood pressure rising? Have you ever met someone so infuriating and pathetic
whenever she is in your midst? I am sure students in 7A class will without a doubt agree with my perception of such a brat. There was
once a 13-year-old girl, whose name was Melissa, and she was despised by everyone. She is extremely arrogant, born with a silver
spoon in her mouth. She flaunts her wealth to her classmates.
Every morning, she swaggers into the class, turning everyone's smiles into scowls. She is a typical spoiled child and a tyrant. Besides,
she abuses her authority as a prefect and jots down the names of students she detests even if they are innocent. It is no wonder that
she was hatred by her classmates. However, one day, she learned a lesson and turned over a new leaf. It so happened that one day,
her class monitor was absent as she was ill.

The teacher was anxious about whether Melissa could handle the weighty load and asked her if she wanted an assistant. However,
she declined the offer and was determined that she could carry it. The hefty weight, apparently, was burdening her, as she walked up
the flights of stairs. Her body ached with exhaustion as beads of perspiration dotted her forehead. Her feet felt like lead as she
shuffled to the office, panting as she went.
The stairs dissolved into a whirl of dull colour and everything in her vision went pitch-black and tumbled down the stairs.
Coincidentally, there was a girl named Anne, who was also on her way to the office and saw Melissa lying on the ground as activity
books scattered over the stairs. Without hesitation, Anne went to Melissa's aid and helped her up. She went to the office to get a first-
aid kit and put some ointment on Melissa’s sprained knee as she has some knowledge of first-aid.
After Melissa felt better, Anne quickly informed her class teacher about the incident. The teacher, shocked to hear the news,
immediately called for an ambulance. Melissa was discharged to the hospital for a day or two and the doctor said that she was given
first-aid before coming to the hospital, otherwise, her knee would have worsened. Melissa, who was grateful, thanked Anne profusely.
From that day onwards, Melissa has turned into a different person.
She became accommodating and doesn’t flaunt her wealth anymore. In fact, she started to have more friends as she became a role
model in school.

cried badly. One of her classmates name Amy heard a crying sound from the girl toilet. She walked in and saw Melissa was crying.
Amy was soft-hearted and comforted her. Melissa very regretted that how she treated her classmates. Melissa hug and thanked Amy.
Melissa apologized to her classmates and they chose to forgive her.

However, her life plunged into misery when her father’s company went bust. Apparently, her father had developed a gamling addiction
and owed serious debts. Her family sold their mansion and most of their belongings but they could only pay off a fraction of their debt.
The next day when she walked the halls, a flush crept up her face as the students whispered and talked. Having no longer had power,
the students were no longer afraid of Melissa. The students made up nasty rumours about her and
rubbed her misfortune in her face. One day during recess, three girls approached Melissa. Her jaw clenched as the girls mocked and
made fun of her, taunting her about her misfortune. Many of the students that witnessed the situation turned a blind eye, some even
thought she deserved it. It soon became a norm that the three girls would visit Melissa during recess to give her a beating. Day after
day Melissa soon became more and more depressed. At first, her classmates thought she deserved it,

and chased the bullies away. This left Mellisa in shock. She never thought they would help her after what she had done to them in the

personality, she was now famous for being a kind and generous girl that many people adored.

hoped her parents would punish her. Her parents promised her classmates. Her parents punished Melissa for waiting for her to come
home and hoped she would change her attitude at school.
The next day, Melissa came to school but did not talk much or laugh at the students that are bad at studying. Melissa called all her
classmate to stay for recess time. She appolagise at her classmate and tell them she regret what the bad things she did to her
classmate. Her classmates forgave her and told her to not bully or laugh at anyone again.
