Which Way ?
is the broad way and there is the narrow way. The broad way we
are told is easy and offers much of the world and its pleasures
and leads to destruction. But the narrow way is winding and
difficult to tread and leads to life. The Word of God also reminds
us that there is a way which seems right unto a man but the end
thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12). Death and
destruction my friend is the ultimate price one will pay for treading
the wrong road. Jesus said. “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life,
no man cometh unto the Father but by me” (John 14:6).
He that hath the son (Jesus) hath life; and he that hath not the
son (Jesus) of God hath not life (1 John 5:12).
Many of us often find ourselves at the crossroads in life. We need
to take a decision or make a choice and all too often the choices
we make find us wanting. Our life does not consist in the
abundance of our possessions but in the choices we make for
time and eternity. Joshua was able to tell the people of God he
was leading to choose you this day whom you will serve (Joshua
24:15) Choosing the broad way is serving the devil but to walk the
narrow way is life and peace. Jesus said, I am the Door by me if
any man enter in he shall be saved” (John 10:9). Remember there
is no escape for the unrepentant sinner but whosoever will
confess his sins and seek God’s forgiveness, him will God
abundantly pardon and receive.
