“Easy” (Big Walter Horton)

Here's my attempt at Big Walter’s “Easy” with a bit of improvisation thrown in.
Whilst "Easy" to play on the surface, this is a really great instrumental to work
on your tone and in getting the maximum out of every note. Played on a Bb
stock Hohner Crossover in 2nd position key of F.

"The Plumber" (Paul Linden/Sean Costello)

This is probably my favourite harmonica instrumental and I thoroughly
recommend you listen to Paul Linden playing the original alongside Sean
Costello, (100 times better than me and much faster). There are two versions on
Sean's albums "Moanin' For Molasses" and "Sean's Blues". I've just played to a
backing track from Jimmy Lee. Key of F (Bb Harp in 2nd Position).

"Juke" (Little Walter)

Passing the time in lockdown. Here's Little Walter's 1952 harmonica
instrumental "Juke", the only harmonica instrumental to have ever reached No.1
in Billboard's R&B chart.

"Dark Eyes" (Django Reinhardt)

What to do in lockdown? Try and learn something a bit different. I think I've
bitten off more than I can chew with this one though. It highlights the flaws in
my intonation (sounds a bit like a duck to begin with). An attempt at some
Gypsy Jazz. If you want to listen to this played properly check out Mariano
Massolo on YouTube. The tune is 'Dark Eyes'.

"Quarter to Twelve" (Little Walter)

"Don't go yet, it's only quarter to twelve". My attempt at Little Walter's
harmonica instrumental "Quarter to Twelve".

"John Henry" (DeFord Bailey 1928)

My attempt at DeFord Bailey's 1928 recording of the traditional song 'John
Henry'. Diatonic harmonica key of A (played in 2nd position key of E).
