NOTE ON BENGALURU-KADAPA-VIJAYAWADA GREEN FIELD

EXPRESSWAY

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has put the process of land

acquisition for the crucial Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada Greenfield Express
way 4/6 lane access controlled Green Field Express way on fast track.
The work of survey and sub division of the fields in the alignment have
been mapped on FMB’s.
In as much as Ananthapuramu District is concerned, the acquisition of
land for the construction of 4/6 lane access controlled Green Field Express Way
starts from Km. 0.000 to Km. 75.000 connecting Bengaluru-Kadapa in the
State of Andhra Pradesh. The Joint Collector was recommended and nominated
as competent authority for land acquisition under section 3(a) of the NH Act,
1956 by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India.
The 3A Notification has been published under section 3A(1) of the NH
Act, 1956 in the Official Gazette vide SO No.761(E) dated 17.02.2022 to an

extent of 1819.48 acres covering 45 villages spread in 9 Mandals of Kadiri

and Penukonda Revenue Divisions as detailed hereunder:

The 3A proposals have been received from the NHAi authorities and soon
they will be verified by the concerned Tahsildars and soon the proposals will be
submitted for publication of 3(a) notification
