The teacher makes a lesson plan, suitable learning materials, and learning outcomes
target. Child centered learning focuses on the learning process in classroom. How to
make children enjoy and fun learning English.

2. To teaching young learners to listen to English, are never just listening activities. This
activities can combine with writing, speaking, reading too. During a listening exercise,
teachers must find a way to bring the input to life, getting the children to participate
physically or conjuring up colorful images by using intonation and objects. In the best
listening exercises for children, gym mats become magic carpets, water bottles hold rare
potions, and pumpkins really do become royal coaches.

And then, give children listening task selection. Tasks with a game-like element can
highly effective. The younger the children, the less self-conscious they are, so they will
be happy to participate in many types of game, drama, and movement. And for young
learners, stories are useful as teaching tools, because they comprise complete imaginary
worlds in which listeners can get immersed. Many stories can be used, like Rapunzel,
Cinderella, Aladdin. Besides stories, music plays a large role in children’s experiences
with listening.

This learning technique is not only used in favorite schools but also in suburban schools,
because it does not require high facilities and costs. It’s just that, in suburban schools, it
requires a lot of energy, thought and time, because their interest in foreign languages is
still very low.
