Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to apply for the Finance role at your organization. With over three years of experience
in financial analysis and management, I am confident that my skills are an ideal fit for this
position. As a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Finance from Humber
College, I am eager to contribute my knowledge and enthusiasm to the team at CIBC.

As you will find on my resume, I have had a variety of experiences with many different roles in
the financial industry, from my time at Insurance and Lender Analysis to my time at Accounts
Payable Associate (Part-time). Additionally, I have had the opportunity to participate in a
Commercial Banking Experience Program and a Global Finance and Business Management
Program. I am looking to make the next step in my career by leveraging my finance knowledge to
help achieve success for Bank of Montreal.

During my time as an Insurance and Lender Analysis, I gained invaluable experience in data
collection, financial modelling and analytics. My primary focus was on analyzing trends in
markets and predicting customer behaviors using statistical models. Additionally, I also worked on
assessing risk factors for various companies which allowed me to develop critical problem-solving
skills that can be applied to any situation. My experience taught me how to quickly adapt to
changes while keeping up with deadlines efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, working on
detailed reports gave me the ability to communicate complex information in an organized manner
that is easy for others to comprehend.

My part-time role as an Accounts Payable Associate also contributed significantly towards my

growth as a professional. In this role, I developed strong organizational skills which enabled me to
stay organized during periods of high workloads or tight deadlines. My responsibilities included
verifying invoices against purchase orders and maintaining accurate records; tasks which
improved both my attention to detail and accuracy when handling large amounts of data.
Additionally, dealing with suppliers enabled me to enhance my interpersonal skills which can be
extremely beneficial when collaborating with internal stakeholders such as customers or
colleagues.

Given the combination of experiences listed above and other key skills that are required for this
role such as financial modelling proficiency, excellent problem-solving skills or solid
communication abilities - all areas where I excel - makes me an ideal candidate for this role at
CIBC. Therefore, I look forward to further discussing how my background fits your needs during
our interview process. Thank you for your consideration!

Sincerely,

[Sahaj Patel]
