MEMORY PARAMETERS SETUP FOR PERFORMANCE

ISSUES IN EWM INTERFACE

Goal: to change memory parameters of work processes for inadequate settings (memory shortage).
Also releasing memory resource when a user account is in the system and it has an idle time for 20
minutes or more, disconnecting the user account.

 Backing up the instance profiles at operating system level.

The file to back up is the SAP instance profile (highlighted in yellow color).

We can proceed to adjust the parameters in the SAP instance profile: IMP_D00_sapprod1

All parameters were changed successfully.

Now, We are going to proceed with the SAP Instance restart to assume the new values:

 Restarting the SAP instance

SAP Instance status before restarting.

Deactivating shell scripts. That way, alert messages are not going to trigger.

Connectivity to SAP HANA database is successfully.

Instance is Up and Running.

 Accessing to the SAPGUI and execute a basis Consistency Check.

System doesn´t have any errors reported, starting the SAP Instance.
