Summer Vacation is the time to refresh and rejuvenate oneself following one’s interests ,learning
new skills and blossoming your creativity. Let your Holiday Assignments be a reflection of your best
creative juices , enthusiast spirits, diligence and real- life learning. Credit will be awarded to original
ideas, illustrations ,creativity and innovative presentation .
PROJECT: CREATE A COMIC STRIP-It’s a story/ a learning experience expressed through illustrations on
strips/ panels. Text/ dialogues are written in the form of speech balloons or image captions.
● Create a vibrant comic strip based on the story ,'Budhiya' from your Main Course Book with an
addition of your character in the story / on special moments of your life with your family – like
your family’s response when you performed well / you went on a pleasure trip/ you prepared
a summer cool drink with your mother .
● Draw the characters/ make cut-outs for characters Budhiya, Ramu chacha, Budhyia's mother;
/You and Your family members , and other elements of the setting using chart papers in a
creative way.
● Write dialogues of your story / experience in speech bubbles.( Minimum 20
dialogues.)
● An attractive cover with a title for your comic strip .
● Prepare a short class presentation on your experience.
