Effective use of energy during organization operations
A system that is energy efficient consumes less energy without sacrificing performance. To lower their carbon footprints, manufacturers are increasingly resorting to more energy-efficient heating and cooling systems, electrical appliances, and electronics. Increasing energy efficiency is one of the simplest and most cost-effective ways to combat climate change, reduce energy prices for consumers, and make businesses more competitive. Obtaining carbon-dioxide neutrality by decarburization also necessitates optimizing energy consumption. In industrial environments, energy consumption is notably high. Increasing numbers of engineering managers in industries are concerned with improving energy efficiency. Examining energy end uses (such as lighting, processing equipment, and HVAC systems) and implementing measures to minimize the overall amount of energy consumed for those end uses can minimize the total amount of energy spent for one or more end uses. These systems also include heating for the industrial process, air conditioning and heating, ventilation and air conditioning, pumps, and fans. Increasing efficiency through the implementation of these evaluation recommendations has been found to reduce energy use and associated costs.
