Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) have become increasingly important in various
industries due to their potential to perform tasks that are difficult, dangerous, or impossible for human-piloted aircraft. As the use of UAVs becomes more prevalent, it is essential to have a solid understanding of their capabilities, limitations, and potential applications. UAVs have a broad range of applications, including aerial photography, surveying, search and rescue, agriculture, and military operations. Despite the many benefits of using UAVs, there are also significant challenges that need to be addressed, such as safety, privacy concerns, and regulations. Recent research has focused on improving the capabilities of UAVs and addressing the challenges associated with their use. However, there is still a need for further investigation into several aspects of UAV technology, including control systems, energy efficiency, and safety protocols. This paper provides a review of key research projects in the field of UAVs and identifies a gap in the research regarding the use of UAVs in disaster response operations. The methodology reported in this paper includes a literature review of existing research and an analysis of the potential benefits and challenges of using UAVs in disaster response operations. The findings of this paper demonstrate the potential for UAVs to enhance disaster response operations and highlight the need for further research in this area.
