vRAN Involvement
KCCTech involved in Testing and Verification vRAN with CNF (Container Network Function)
in TIP Asia Pacific Lab in Indonesia.
VRAN Integration
o It is possible to Install an OS for instance CentOS and RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) , and build virtualization platform as well on top of it to be
utilized for vDU and or vCU then perform operation and maintenance after this process is established. CLI and GUI can be use as the NMS depending
on the requirement.
o Regarding the Virtual Infrastructure we used RedHat OpenShift and KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine).
o For vRAN Deployment Currently we have 8 Engineers in USA and 6 Engineers in Indonesia (APAC), we can dimension the team size according to
project request and scopes.
o Open Front Haul is the most challenging part on vRAN deployment since not many Radio is not compliance with RAN Split 7.2.
o Our methode Currently we are using iBwave for our Antenna installation Design method
o Regarding overseas operator : SINR and RSRP Acceptance

Internal Training and Knowledge Sharing
Internal Employee Training
• Recurring weekly knowledge sharing sessions with SME from each department
via Web-Based and On-Site (In-Person) On-the-job Training for hands-on
education.
• Routine updates on Method of Procedures (MOP) & lesson learnt utilizing KCC-
Pedia internal repository.
• Attend certified technology training (Udemy, Qualcomm, Intel, TIP, etc.) for
respective employees.
• Participate in technology events in order to keep update on future roadmaps.
• Long Time Assignments in HQ Labs to get latest and greatest updates hands on.
• Assign multiple market resources to the projects for know-how sharing is peak
In order to accomplish project delivery and services in quality, on time and on budget.
We must have the required components as below :
• Product Knowledge and Used Cases
• On the Job Training to see the real equipment, materials and configurations.
• Observe ongoing DOCOMO Live projects.
