1. Define marketing.
Marketing describes the actions a business does to encourage the purchase or sale of a good or
service. Advertising, selling, and delivering goods to customers or other firms are all included in
marketing. Affiliates perform some marketing on behalf of a business.
When people choose to satiate their needs and wants through trade, marketing occurs.
Exchange is the process of getting something you want from someone by giving them
something in exchange. One of numerous methods to get a desired object is exchange. The
fundamental principle of marketing is exchange.
