File EXAMPLE_D.

dat
This data file has THREE CASES designed to illustrate
an extreme case of Dij degradation without the MDS map changing.

Use ratio MDS, Euclidean distances, Stress badness, and two dimensions.

In all three cases you will get a circle.

To run the other two cases, "uncover" the four keywords of

the desired case by removing the x's in front of the keywords,
and adding x's to the other two cases. Save the file, exit this
screen, reload EXAMPLE_D.dat, and run the analysis.

Later Note:
The "data degradation" affect that this data set is
designed to show can be more easily seen by using the
on-line Precision button. That control button was not
yet available when this example was first published.
Regardless, this file shows the degraded dissimilarity
data in a particularly clear format.
