REQUESTING A VISA TO BRAZIL

Fill out the online form at https://formulario-mre.serpro.gov.br/. Choose your language in the upper- right
corner of the page (Portuguese, English, French, German or Spanish) and click on the “Visa”
button. Then, upload the supporting documents for the visa request, such as the ID page from your
passport, aninvitation letter, a letter from the employer or other proof of work or study, airline ticket, a
STEP1 verbal note (for those travelling on official missions) etc.
Finally, save, print and sign the form.

Please note: If you receive a web reply stating "Your connection is not secure", you can safely proceed by
clicking on "advanced", then "add exception" and finally, on "confirm security exception".

Consular Officer.
Please note:
1) Bring your documents at least 15 workingdays
before departure, IN PERSON.
2) Your passport must be valid for at least6
more months and have 2 blank pages.
3) Picture must show a white background
4) Ethiopians with diplomatic or official
passports DO NOT NEED a visa.
5) Fees may vary depending on your nationality. For
passports not issued by Ethiopia, Djibouti or South
Sudan, confirm the amount before paying.
6) If you do not hold the passports of, or reside in,
Ethiopia, Djibouti or South Sudan, please be aware
that all submitted supporting documents must be
authenticated in the country ministry of foreign affairs
and at the Embassy that issued the documents.
7) The Embassy reserves the right to request any
additional documents during the application process
