Summary
• Ferromagnetic FePt, SmCo and NdFeB
nanoparticles have been successfully
synthesized by salt-matrix annealing,
surfactant-assisted ball milling and
innovated chemical synthesis methods;
• Size dependent ferromagnetism is
observed;
• Novel applications of the ferromagnetic
nanoparticles are on the way.
