User Manual of Electric Vehicle Subsidy by using EVC Portal

The disbursement of subsidy of electric vehicles can be applied by the vehicle owners using
following portal;

Work Flow of the Portal: http:// odishatransport.gov.in -> online services -> Apply subsidy for
Electric Vehicle

Click on Register/Apply button to apply for Subsidy, and enter the Vehicle Number and last five digits
of Chassis number. After doing all validations, the vehicle owner will receive an OTP in its RMN and
after entering it application has to be submitted.
The vehicle owner has to verify the vehicle details showing and confirm by clicking the check box.

In case the vehicle is a 2-Wheeler the OEM parameters as prescribed by OEV Police 2021 has to be
verified by the system and will allow for the eligible cases.
 Upload the scanned image of front page of Bank Passbook, click the check box by reading the
declaration and submit the application. An application number will be generated.

Application Status:

In case of Application Reverted by Approving Authority

In case of Application Reverted by the Approving Authority, the vehicle owner needs to upload correct
document using following portal. The vehicle owner will provide correct bank details and upload
scanned copy of bank passbook/cancelled check front page.

 The applicant enters vehicle number and last 5 digits of chassis No. After Successful
verification of vehicle details, OTP will be sent through SMS to vehicle owners mobile no. OTP
validation will be done after providing OTP and clicking Submit Button.

In the Next Step, the vehicle owner’s vehicle details will be fetched automatically and he/she has to
confirm by clicking the declaration checkbox.

After selecting declaration checkbox and click on Confirm button, following screen will appear.

Click on Ok button. After Clicking Ok Button, Vehicle owner needs to provide correct bank
details and upload correct scanned copy of bank passbook front page.
Click on declaration checkbox and finally submit the correction details information.
