The doll starts to talk:

It was twilight. Olduz was sitting in the cellar, had her big doll in front of her
while mumbling:
“Just so you know, big doll, you’re my everything in this whole wide world. My
mommy? I Don’t even remember her. Our neighbor once told me that my dad
divorced her long time ago and sent her back to her sister in the village. I don’t
live my stepmom too. She has stolen my dad from me since the day she set
foot in our home. I am all alone in this house. They killed my cow yesterday.
She was so nice to me. I used to talk to her and in return she would have licked
my hand and gave me her milk. She would let nobody to milk her if I wasn’t in
her eyesight. She has lived here since she was little. Mommy delivered her all
alone and raised her. Big doll, speak to me or I will burst into tears. Yea
anyway, told you that they killed my cow yesterday. My stepmom was longing
for my cow’s beef. Now, she and her sister sitting in the kitchen waiting for the
beef to get ready and eat it. My poor loving cow. I know that you’re being
boiled on fire right now… Big doll … This sadness will consume me. My
stepmom hates my guts since her longing and says: “Every time my eyes meet
you, my stomach starts to growl. I can’t control it. Now I have to spend all my
time in the cellar so that my stepmom wouldn’t see me and her belly doesn’t
growl.
I don’t know how long it’s been since I got you. Since I open my eyes to this
world you were by my side. If you’d too be mean to me and leave me, I don’t
know what to do. Big doll, either speak to me or I will burst into tears. This
sadness would kill me.
