 HIDDEN CURRICULUM

-Unwritten, unofficial, and often unintended lessons, values, and perspectives that
students learn in school

RECOMMENDED CURRICULUM

-the name given to the curriculum construed by the educational stakeholders at the
national level. It is more general and usually consists of policy guidelines.

WRITTEN CURRICULUM

is what is formally put down in writing and documented for teaching. These materials can
include an educator's instruction documents, films, text and other materials they need. These
materials come from the larger school district or the school itself.

  TAUGHT CURRICULUM

- that which teachers actually teach day-by-day

  LEARNED CURRICULUM

What students walk away with from a course. This includes the subject matter and
knowledge they learned from a course, but it can also include additional changes in attitude and
emotional wellbeing.

SUPPORTED CURRICULUM

the curriculum supported by available resources. Such resources include both human
(teachers) as well as physical (such as textbooks, workbooks, audio visual aids, teacher guides,
grounds, buildings, library books and laboratory equipment).

TESTED CURRICULUM

It includes both formative and summative evaluation of learners conducted by teachers,


schools, or external organizations.

EXCLUDED CURRICULUM

The Null Curriculum is that which is not taught. Sometimes the teacher ignores some
content or skill, deliberately or unknowingly. A teacher may consider some idea unimportant and
ignore it.

 
CORE CURRICULUM

series or selection of courses deemed essential and that all students are required to
complete before they can move on to the next level in their education or earn a diploma, typically
including, but not limited to, various reading, writing, math, and science courses.

ORGANIC CURRICULUM

A curriculum that promotes interdisciplinary and personalized learning, with curriculum


entitlement and choice that delivers breadth of study, personal relevance and flexible learning
pathways; while the choice refers to curriculum contents, learning methods and time.

ENRICHMENT CURRICULUM

The focus is given to the overall development of students and they are taught skills
relevant to real-life situations.
