Trees
Trees are our friends. We can climb them, and they give us fruit. Best of all,
they help us breathe.

We breathe in oxygen and breathe out carbon

dioxide. Tree leaves take in carbon dioxide. Then,
they make oxygen. We need trees to live.

Some trees are 3,000 years old. Some give us

apples and pears. They make the air smell good, and
they also provide us with shade.

Would you like to plant a tree? Find some soft dirt.

Plant an acorn, and water it every week. Then, you
will have your tree!
