In today’s highly competitive world of trade and commerce, advertisement has become almost
indispensable. Today businessmen and industrialists spend enormous amount to get their wares
publicized so that they can draw the attention of as large a market as possible. Unprecedented
developments of the electronic media, like T.V, internet etc has also made publicity and
advertisement quick and far reaching. The more attractive and alluring the advertisement, the
larger the number of consumers likely to be tempted to obtain the goods and services
advertised. Advertisements often titillate the basic weaknesses of human nature to promote
business.
(a) What is the target of modern businessmen to promote their product? (1)

(c) How has it become easy for advertisements to successfully reach the public today?
