Throughout the last days of Caitie Lucas young life,
she became a viral sensation that inspired many
older loving parents also gave hope to many parents
who followed their journey.
When she succumbed to the disease she fought so
bravely it was as the whole country mourned with
her loved ones
Thank you lord for the grace that in 3 years we lived
what was like 30 years wrote her parents in a
heartfelt letter posted on her official Facebook page
following her passing her body was 3 but her soul
lived like it was 30 years old in experience in wisdom
and beauty
Before the year ended, her parents shared the
happy news that they were expecting another child,
but caities courage will always be remembered an d
celebrated

I’m a mom of three great kids, our success
as a family is built on some basic
principles. Our faith and attitude. But
that’s not the entire key to success story.
The way we’ve parented our children has
also made a difference. We treat all our
children as typical kids. We loved and
accept our boys where they are at in their
development, the second area we focus on
is having expectations .We have
expectation with our kids, teamwork
includes our family, friends, caregivers,
educators, and doctors. Without a team
opportunities are missed networking is
missed and success falls flat on its face, we
have never given up on our special need
boys. We are their best advocates,
encourage and support system.

James re-entered college in the spring
of 2010 semester at a carefully chosen
small, private college in the Pittsburgh
area with strong support plan and my
services in place . He earned a 3.25
GPA in his first semester back then a
3.50 GPA during summer his first
successful college credits in 3yea. His
family was delighted especially after
spending $45,000 on two years of
tuition room , and board, with only 18
transferable credits to show for their
investment . With his confidence
improving, James is now
contemplating a larger choice and is
using his static re- entry to his current
school as a stepping stone by using a
comprehensive approach that included
the accurate identification of
problems ,date driven planning on
going support, and a mindset of
advocacy ,I was able to help James for
her education .
